NTPC is a schedule “A“ Maharatna enterprise of the Government of India, isa premier power generation company having expertise and strength in areas such as setting up, operation & maintenance of power projects and sale of power to various state power utilities and other bulk customers.

NTPC installed capacity stood at 62910 MW  

NHPC is a schedule “A“ Miniratna enterprise of the Government of India and a premier hydroelectric power utility of the country set up with an objective to plan, promote and organize an integrated and efficient development of hydroelectric power in all aspects.

Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID), a schedule “A“ Maharatna enterprise of the Government of India, is the Central Transmission Utility of India incorporated in 1989. It owns and operates over 168,140 circuit kms and 252 Substations with a transformation capacity of 420,630 MVA which is one of the largest transmission networks in the world. It also undertakes transmission of power through interstate-transmission network and discharges all functions of planning and co-ordination related inter-state transmission and operate Regional Load Despatch Centres (RLDCs).

Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) is a statutory autonomous body established under DVC Act 1948 under ministry of Power, GOI. DVC, mega pithead power producer and distributor in the Eastern Region and become a facilitator for all around growth of the region enriching the quality of lives of people. 

DVC installed capacity including RTPS now stands at 7557.2 MW

CPRI, Bangalore Central Power Research Institute (CPRI) is an autonomous society under ministry of power, Government of India. Set up in 1960 by the Government of India, it functions as a centre for applied reaserch in electrical power engineering assisting the electrical industry in product development, Consultancy and quality assurance. CPRI also serves as independent authority for testing and certification of power equipment. CPRI’s governing body includes eminent professionals from industries, utilities, prestigious academic and research institutions and the Government.
